About Us

My name is Tim Cassi, I started Focus Lacrosse with the intention of bringing the nearly 20 years of playing and coaching experience to lacrosse community with one goal in mind; helping to bridge the gap between goalies and coaches to help improve the lacrosse goalie community. Here is some more information about me:

Playing Career

• Division III goalie at King's College (2005-2009) 
  • Career Save Percentage leader at 59.7%
  • Top 20 in the nation in Save Percentage multiple seasons (Division III)
• Earned a scholarship to play and coach in the UK for the Durham University Palatinates
  
  • Won UK BUCS National Championship in 2011
  • Coached the top goalie in the first and second divisions

Program Coaching

• Assistant Coach for North Stafford High School also coached the goalies(VA) (2010)
  • Coached goalies to VMI and Dartmouth
• Assistant Coach for Corona Del Mar High School (CA) (2012-Present)
  • Coached Three All American Goalies (Two multi-year All-Americans)
  • Goalies in the program attended Yale, Holy Cross, Westminster College, Northland College and USC (club)
  • Coached within the Youth Program at all age levels

Independent and Consulting 

• Goalie Coach - French National Team (2014 World Games)
• Virginia Lacrosse Club - Assistant Coach (2008-2010)
  
  • Coached Goalies to CNU and Ferrum College
• Consulted as a goalie coach for multiple time state championship winning High School Program in Texas (2018)
• Coached Collegiate Goalies from Whittier College and Chapman University
• Coached Goalies at Top Summer Camps from some of the best goalie coaches (2006-2009)
  • Bill Pilats Goalie School (Bill Pilat, Roanoke College)
  • Princeton University (Trevor Tierney, Princeton University and Denver University)
